Sustainability

A body engineered to outlast its generation.

Sustainability isn't a marketing line for us — it's a design decision that runs from raw-material selection through the production line, the service life of the body, and finally its recycling. A Nilverde body is built to hold its first-day stance for decades, then to be recycled back to raw material.

Material

Food-grade, 100% recyclable LLDPE.

Nilverde is moulded from food-grade LLDPE that contains no heavy metals. The same resin can be ground from production offcuts and end-of-life bodies and remelted — no additional chemical step is needed to bring it back to raw material.

Process

One-piece body, zero internal waste.

The rotomould process spreads molten polymer across the inner face of the mould to form a single seamless shell. No extrusion offcuts, no assembly waste, no solvents — most of the energy budget goes into heating the mould, and the cooling fans run on recovery cycles.

Service life

The same stance, decade after decade.

UV8 stabilisation keeps colours from fading in direct sunlight; the body operates between −60°C and +80°C, resisting freeze, heat and thermal shock. The one-piece construction prevents cracks and fractures — a Nilverde body is engineered for a generation, not a season.

01

Food-grade LLDPE

Safe for human contact; contains no heavy metals.

02

100% recyclable

The same resin remelts many times over inside a closed loop.

03

UV8 stabilised

Surface protection that holds colour even under harsh sun.

04

−60°C / +80°C

A body resistant to freeze, heat and thermal shock.

05

Solvent-free

No solvents, no assembly glues, no internal offcuts.

06

Take-back line

Retired bodies return to the workshop for recycling.

End of life

A loop that returns to raw material.

When a Nilverde body retires from service we take it back to the workshop, grind it, and feed it into the raw material of a new body. The fact that the same resin can be remelted many times over is what makes the collection viable in a closed loop.
